Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist
(CSCS) – National Strength & Conditioning Association
Former Strength Coach
Texas Rangers Professional Baseball Organization
B.S. in Health Science, Promotion & Fitness
Keene State College & CPR/AED Certified
Awarded the National Strength & Conditioning Associations All-American 2005 Athlete of the Year Award.”
John chose Keene State College for their Athletic Training (AT) program, but quickly switched to Health Science once he found out the AT program conflicted with baseball. John wasn’t sure what he would do with a degree in Health Science at the time but during his sophomore year KSC acquired a Strength & Conditioning Coach. Already being such a huge competitor and fond of the weight room John excelled at the Strength & Conditioning program. Leading not only his own baseball team in workouts but also other athletic programs as well. KSC’s Strength & Conditioning Coach, Sarah Testo, took John under her wing for the rest of his tenure and at the end of his senior year awarded him the National Strength & Conditioning Associations All-American 2005 Athlete of the Year award.
Being only 23, John felt he needed more coaching experience and decided to part with the Rangers and head back home. John found what he was looking for landing a Performance Coach position with CATZ (Competitive Athlete Training Zone) in Needham, MA. CATZ provided John with countless hours of strength & conditioning and adult fitness experience, which he believes prepared for his next venture of co-opening/operating GAME 7 Sports Training. Almost 5 years later, COMPLETE STRENGTH & FITNESS was born. John co-owns and operates CSF with his business partner Isaac Valdiviezo. It is their mission to inspire, educate, and assist everyday individuals in improving their physical well being.
